Data Selections offer general data limitations/selections via "named scopes". A distinction is made between "restrictions" (forced limitations) und "verteiler" (wished limitations). Data Selections are defined in kind and dimensions (SQL knowledge required) via Data Selection Groups and specified via the Selection itself. Selections are also possible for user-groups like roles or companies and do then apply to all users of the group - as long as there are no separate selection for a single user.

Please be aware, that Data Selections are NOT available in the Admin-Module - it simply makes no sense.
